Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially married at Windsor Castle.

Both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have very different styles, but both brides opted for classic styles for their big day.

Meghan for her special day wore a stunning white Givenchy gown designed by Clare Waight Keller. Meghan’s choice to the surprise of everyone wore a sleek and modern wedding gown with a simple silhouette and open boat neckline featured no embellishment or lace, a classic 50s style. The pure lines of the dress with open boat neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasizes the waist.

While Kate on the other hand for her wedding to Prince William back in 2011, followed classic British wedding tradition and wore a beautiful lace Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton that cost an estimated $434,000 to make. As for accessories, Kate borrowed Queen Elizabeth II’s Cartier Halo Scroll tiara on her big day, which featured nearly 1,000 diamonds, was a gift to the Queen on her 18th birthday from her mother—and was originally purchased by King George VI as an anniversary gift to his wife in 1936.

For her tiara moment, Meghan wore Queen Mary’s diamond filigree tiara, which the Queen inherited from her grandmother Queen Mary.

As for the bouquet both brides Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle carried a small all-white bouquet.
