Purple colour dress
Good day everyone! I would love to start today’s article with a question. Do you have a purple colour dress in your wardrobe? If your answer is “No” then you most definitely should get one. If you are wondering “How do I choose the right purple dress? How to wear dress with this colour? And which accessories will look good with the purple dress?” I have the answers for you In this article.
First of all did I forget to mention that I love purple colour, the beauty of wearing purple is that you can experiment with it endlessly. Especially the magical deep purple can transform you from romantic feminine soft look to elegant in all areas including the sophisticated business woman. When creating an outfit with a purple colour, just keep in mind the rule of 3 colours: 1st primary colour, the 2nd colour is intended to emphasize the first and third colour is the one that gives the image perfection.
By playing with darker or lighter purple colours, texture and different shape, you can achieve amazing results. For example dark purple colour is perfect for business outfit and will look great like in the summer or winter. Purple dress, unlike classic black, will bring playfulness and mystery to your look. Dark purple dress will not draw much attention to you, rather than actually making you visually look slimmer. For night out my advice is to give preference to a bright shade of purple.
In addition, in my opinion purple colour will look good on most women. Especially on brunettes and dark skins purple looks great. I like how purple colour emphasizes black hair but blondes with fair skin should be careful wearing purple colour outfit. I advise blondes to wear purple colour outfit only in combination with bright make-up and possibly with dark, contrast colour accessories, otherwise they risk to actually look sick.
Purple is the colour of elegance, with this colour you can easily create sophisticated look. Shoes play an important role in completing the image. A win-win model, for both formal and informal settings, will be high heels. The classic, elegant beige colour high heels will visually slimmer silhouette and make legs look longer. Beige colour heels are preferred for warm weather, but for cool weather I advise to choose black colour high heels.

Since purple colour can be quite bright and noticeable, I prefer to combine bright purple outfit with neutral and black colour accessories. If you decide to choose purple colour accessories like handbags, jewellery, shoes, scarves, I believe they should be used only if the primary colour of the clothes is neutral. Purple colour will also look good with gold and silver accessories, this combination will emphasize its originality. Luxurious purple dress combined with golden heels and golden accessories will make you look like a royalty.
As per the fabric keep in mind that purple colour outfit will look very good in wool, velvet and satin fabrics. As per best suitable colours to combine purple colour with would be shades of cyan, pale orange, yellow as well as a golden brown , white and black.
I hope this article inspired you to create new sophisticated look 🙂

I’m not a huge fan of purple to be honest, but those who can pull it off, I say good for them.
