Dos and Don’ts to Consider Before Buying Jewelry

Hope you are all having a wonderful week! For today’s look I chose classic color combination black and gray outfit with silver jewelry.
In today’s post I would like to share with you few important dos and don’ts to consider before buying jewelry.
1. It is always a great idea to buy a full set of jewelry (necklace with earrings, bracelet and a ring) but keep in mind that wearing them all together is not a good idea and some will even consider this as a sign of a bad taste.
2. When buying a set of jewelry remember that only one item should be big and act as a main piece (for example, it could be a necklace or earnings) the rest of the complementary items should be small.
3. If you ever wonder if you should combine an inexpensive jewelery with silver or gold? The answer on thus question is simple,… Do you want your gold or silver necklace to be lost as a background and be perceived as jewelry? I don’t think so 🙂

4. Do not wear together gold and silver – keep in mind that ideally only one color should dominate.
5. If you are a slim girl, then remember that large jewelry don’t suit your body type and it will look to humongous on you, but for those of you who are on the plus size then the large jewelry would be a great choice that not only will help you to complete your look of the day but it also will help you visually to reduce the size.
6. Another important point in choosing jewelry is always to keep in mind that jewelry should match with the style of clothing. For example, for a night out fitted dress or open top with a mini skirt you can choose a beautiful necklace with middle eastern style or modern metallic style jewelry but for classic style (office wear)a perfect choice would be a minimalistic elegant style jewelry like gold or silver necklace with a natural stone of your choice (remember that sometimes less is more) and as for young lady who love comfortable street style, she can play with different styles jewelry until she find her own unique style.
The rule is than more complicated parent or design of the outfit you are wearing then less complicated your jewelry should be.
7. Lately you can see more often beautiful beaded tops and dresses, for an outfit like that you don’t need to wear any accessory as it looks perfect on its own.
