Cute hairstyles with headbands
Today I would love to talk to you about accessories. You most probably familiar with “headbands” since many of us used to wear them when we were a teenagers. Although it is not so complicated or sophisticated of an accessory yet it can give a great verity of hairstyles starting from sporty style simply helping to keep your hair away from your face down to cute casual messy bun or chic evening or wedding hairdo.
I have few headbands myself. Why? Because it is always relevant and can be, fashionable and stylish!
Now days we have a large variety and choices of headbands, some are made of fabric, plastic and or metal, some are decorated with all kinds of ribbons and other decorative elements. Headband not only complete your look of the day it also helps highlight your beauty and showcase your personality.
Ok,….here is how I use them.
Most of us have a very busy and active life style and sometimes we just simply want to keep hair out of our face and especially those of us who have long hair. On a day like that I use the basic sporty style headband because sometimes I don’t feel like putting my hair up in a ponytail. Keep it in your purse and sometimes it can come handy.
If you planning to go out I think a perfect evening hairdo would be the Greek style. In order to create such a fun and romantic look, you need to divide your hair into several parts, teez them and then alternately tuck the ends under, pin it and put on a headband that matches your outfit and this style will give your hair the necessary volume. I believe those of you who have a straight hair would definitely love this hairstyle. I also love how great this hairstyle looks with curly hair, so the happy owners of curls are certainly welcome to try this style.
By the way for an evening hairstyle I love to use modest dark headband or vice versa sparkling golden or silver headband because in my opinion they are a good match for most color outfits.
Headbands are perfect to create classic styles, they are great for those who do not have much time to spend on fixing hair but they want to look good also. Simply pin-up your hair and complete the look by adding a chosen headband – which you should have at your fingertips. The most important part of it is that it’s not necessary have a perfect bun because now a days messy bun is very popular and they do look good and fun. So, try it!
I should warn you, that some of the headbands have a disadvantage, if you chose a headbands made of plastic or metal, it will create some pressure against your head, which can cause some discomfort and in even a headache. So I personally prefer the stretchy headbands.
Some people think that if they have a bang they can’t use headbands, but when you look at the pictures below, as you can see you can wear headband with a bang and look good.
If you never use headbands before and you decide to try it for the first time but you can’t decide which color and fabric then keep in mind it is best to use pastel colors headbands made of lightweight fabrics.
So in closing, with the help of the headbands, you can create a lot of amazing hairstyles, so give it a try, experiment and do not be afraid!
