Tasty Dinner Recipe (Hamburger Meat & Vegetables)

Today I would love to share with you a recipe I cooked yesterday for dinner. I love this dish because it doesn’t take long to prepare (main ingredients of this meal are hamburger meat & vegetables), this can be a great option for weeknight dinners.  Simply cut all ingredients, mix them together and cook it in the oven. I would say it will take about 50 minutes of your time and dinner is ready 🙂

Ingredients:
700 gm hamburger meat

6 medium potatoes

1 green bell pepper

1 yellow bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

5 large carrots

2 medium onions

4 tbsp tomato paste

200 gm cheddar cheese grated

3 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper to taste

1) Wash bell peppers, carrots, onions and cut them into medium size cubes.

2) Peel potatoes, cut in half and boil in salted water (approximately 20 min). When potatoes are done, drain the water and place the steaming hot potatoes into a large bowl. Mash potatoes with a potato masher until they are smooth.

3) Place the hamburger meat in a large bowl then add cut peppers, carrots, onions, salt and black pepper to taste and mix it well.  Using a spoon put mixture in a hot frying pan with olive oil and cook it on the medium heat for 6-7 mins.

4) Put mixture of hamburger meat & vegetables into the cooking tray then mix tomato paste and water together and pour over the mixture. After that add prepared mashed potatoes over the mixture and spread grated cheese over the top.

5) Pre-heat oven to 190 C and bake it until cheese melts and colour changes to a light brown, peppers and carrots have to become soft, and tender. (about 30 min).
